While in Atlanta attending the A3C HipHop Festival, the Cult Classic Goods team got a chance to cross paths with an interesting collective of artists called Two9. Two9 is a rising Hip-Hop collective of rappers, producers, and clothing designers that are building a huge buzz in the underground of the Atlanta Hip-Hop scene. Curtis Williams, FatKidsBrotha, Retro Su$h!, DJ Osh Kosh, OrginalFani, and Gunner Stahl are the leaders of the Two9 movement. Together they form a well-structured company that allows them to bring money to the table in multiple ways. Two9 is a true embodiment of young adults coming together and becoming entrepreneurs. Their lyrics are honest and tell stories about rising up as an artist wanting to live life and do it on their own terms. Even tho Two9 is getting a lot of attention for their MikeWillMadeIt produced hit “Where The Money At,” they are much more well-rounded artists. Not just the gritty in your face kids yelling out “Fuck a 9-5”. They have substance, compelling lyrics, complex compositions, and distinct production that give the listener a great experience. Paired with dope visuals and a strong team, Two9 creates something with great quality and originality that is sure to become something great.
