Drew Mills is Frustrated in the Debut Visual from His New Project 'Old Boy'

Philadelphia artist Drew Mills drops the debut visual “Frustrated” from his newly released project Old Boy, and the video is a quick two-minute dive into the psyche of a young rapper eager to share his artistic vision. The Drew Dolo produced beat compliments the rapper’s urgent stream of conscious rhymes with a trapped out percussion and bass-heavy melody reminiscent of the sounds you’d expect to hear exploring hidden passages in The Legend of Zelda. Drew Mills’ verses are his own search through focused thoughts on personal musical expression and the spiritual aspirations he has for himself and his people. The visual directed by Kash Jones accents the slightly chaotic nature of the 23-year-old rapper’s artistic persona with fast-cut animations and a saturated black and red color scheme.
