Listen to Miles Chancellor ft. Anyee Wright - Withdrawal (Prod. Sketcho & Mike Wash)

Written by Joe Pitts

Hot off his performance at the Three for 3 show series along with Atlanta's Miloh Smith, Philadelphia's Miles Chancellor is back with a moody collaboration with The Crew Down affiliate Anyee Wright titled 'Withdrawal'. You may remember their last joint together: Anyee's R.W.A.G.L.M which had a very cool video by the east coast's reigning visual champs YSKSK (that record, incidentally, is still in heavy rotation here at Cult Classic). The 'Withdrawl' production by Sketcho & Mike Wash starts off with a piano-driven lead for Miles to sing over, but once Anyee enters the track, the beat subtly changes gears giving way to a more atmospheric percussion-driven soundscape. Anyee provides Miles with some sultry questioning: Do you miss me? Are you sure? You wanna kiss me? You want more? Miles then gets personal with his attitudes as an emerging rap artist on women and bitches, making it known there is an important distinction between the two. Peep the record below for the West Philly native's perspective:
